Congrats Care.. I know you can do it, and water is the key, it takes a lot of salt out of your system.
I am like fossil, I gained 3 pounds in the 4 days of vacation. Its so hard to eat right when you are at someone elses house, plus traveling 8 hrs in a car, you cannot CANNOT keep drinking water the whole trip (and you all know why) :)
I am back.. and glad to hear from you all.

shoppe, you will be so happy with me....I drank 1 bottle of water the first day...2 the next...and I have had a bottle going ever since...I refill at the watercooler in the breakroom...good and cold!!! I am having a bottle now as I type. I dropped maybe 5#...I can feel it plus I can see it isn't there...LOL!! I have yet to weigh in and I never made it to Dad's to do so....but whatever...I know I'm dropping...I tried on all my bathing suits and the new one I bought last year...is a size TOO BIG!!! Oh boy...the other one I love so much...well more water and walking and that'll fit perfect...glad the rain is still around b/c this way I have a lil' more time to lose...At 43, I'd love to put that string bikini back on...and have heads turn, hahahaha!!! Because it looks good not b/c it looks awful hahahah! I have a picture in my head... of a pot roast at the meat counter you know the kind with the string wrapped around it? LOL!! I wouldn't want to look like that...LOL!! Reply...
Well I gained 5#'s on the trip(rolling eyes),but I was picking rock for two days and lost three of it,so I'm 202 now............................On the coast with all that crab, fish and other seafood,I couldn't hold back(ha ha)..............
For people whom doesn't know what picking rock is-"Its walking a farmers field with a tractor behind you,you pick rock off the cropped fields and through them into the tractor bucket............rocks from fist size to 600 #'s..........hard work...We did 58 acres the first day and a quarter the next........My back is toasted(on meds now for a while)...........But my buddy needed help so I helped him....(he is 87 years old,no need for him to do that alone) Reply...

Care, some will say you don't need a scale. WRONG, YOU NEED A GOOD SCALE. Do you have 50 bucks to spare? if so get a digital. They are so accurate, you can't cheat on it. :) Invest, weigh every morning. You will see by what you ate the day before if you made the right choice.
Down 2 this week. so its about 22 pounds so far.
I am one that has to stick to the diet perfecly or I will stray. One serving of something I shouldn't have and I say "what the heck" might as well top it off with a dove candy bar.. or handful of wise potato chips..
so, perfect or nothing to get the job done.
Now,, not 200 girly, just 8-10 cups a day (a cup being 8 ounces) measure it out and you will see its not that bad, start early, keep it chilled, sip all day, don't just look at a cup and say I have to drink that right now.... sip all day... carry it with you.... YOU WILL LOSE... Reply...
I dont have a scale at home...maybe I'll head to dad's to weigh in b4 work!!!! Reply...
