Local hairstylist Nicole Speed has announced she will donate the proceeds from services performed on Friday, September 21 to Northern Plains Dance. Ms. Speed, a friend of the organization, is hoping that her generosity will inspire other community members to actively support Northern Plains Dance.



Northern Plains Dance is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization located in Bismarck North Dakota. Its professional dance company, Northern Plains Ballet, provides opportunities for the communities in the Bismarck area to directly experience and understand dance performance’s power to communicate aspects of the human experience, while simultaneously providing children in the area with an opportunity to gain valuable experience performing with a professional company. Its training facility, Northern Plains Dance Academy, provides dance instruction for students ages 3 to adult.



Ms. Speed, a hairstylist since 1999, has been self-employed at Electric Sunn Tanning & Salon since it’s opening in January of 2005. Ms. Speed is married to Ervin Speed, manager of Rex in Bismarck, and has one child, Juwaun.
