Associated Press MIAMI (AP) Unable to return to his past Pro Bowl form after suffering a major knee injury in 2005, veteran quarterback Daunte (DAHN'-tay) Culpepper retired from the NFL today. Culpepper starred with the Minnesota Vikings before his devastating injury and tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate his career with Miami in 2006 and Oakland in 2007. He wasn't in training camp with any teams this year. ST. LOUIS (AP) The first round of the BMW Championship has been washed out by steady rain in St. Louis.
