If you thought softball season peaked with 'the Mcquade,' think again! This year, North Dakota gets a National Tournament and it is only a day away.

The Men's Class D *Northern* Slow Pitch Championships will be in Bismarck.



"(Mike Wolf:) People take it very seriously when they come to a national tournament - it is not a fun weekend tournament that they are going to - the teams are very serious when they come here to play. The umpire selection is very tough - we have umpires coming from around the country, so the umpire selection is tough, so it is serious-business softball. People do have fun coming to these tournaments, but it is serious softball and every body takes it serious because there is a lot at stake. "




61 teams from seven states will participate.

All the action begins tomorrow and is scheduled to go until Monday.
