Krystkowiak interested in job as NBA assistant

Missoula, Mont. (AP) Larry Krystkowiak says he's interested in becoming an assistant coach in the NBA, after being fired as the coach of the Milwaukee Bucks last month.

Krystkowiak says he thinks he could learn a lot from a good-quality NBA coach, and then at some point get another chance at a head coaching job.

He was in Missoula this week to speak at a sports awards banquet.

Krystkowiak says his season at Milwaukee was a bad experience, but he says he loves coaching.
