Fargo, N.D. (AP) North Dakota State officials say that punter Mike Dragosavich (drah-GO'-sah-vich) plans to try out for the New England Patriots.

Dragosavich was not selected in the NFL draft, even though he was considered among the top prospects at his position. He has not signed a contract.

The audition for Dragosavich is planned this weekend at New England's rookie mini-camp.

NDSU linebacker Joe Mays was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the draft.
