Associated Press Washington (AP) Senate leaders are backing Israel's ground operation against Hamas. Democratic Sens. Harry Reid and Dick Durbin and Republican leader Mitch McConnell say Israel's actions are understandable. They say it's what the U.S. would do if terrorists were targeting U.S. territory. WASHINGTON (AP) President-elect Barack Obama and members of his economic team have been saying they'll be ready to go on Day One. But congressional leaders are saying it may take a little longer at least to get an economic stimulus package right. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer tells "Fox News Sunday" he hopes Congress can get Obama a bill by mid-February. LOS ANGELES (AP) "Marley & Me" remains No. 1 at the box office for the second straight weekend. Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson's family dog flick earned more than $24 million in ticket sales. Adam Sandler's comedy "Bedtime Stories" is in second place with a little over $20 million. There were no new wide releases this weekend. MIAMI (AP) There are two wild-card games on the NFL's playoff schedule today. The first features the Miami Dolphins who won the AFC East after winning just one game last season.
