Bush says "promises from Hamas will not suffice." BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) Authorities in Thailand are still working to identify some of the 61 people killed in a New Year's Eve fire at a night club in Bangkok. Twenty-six of the victims are still receiving emergency medical care. WASHINGTON (AP) President-elect Barack Obama's economic recovery package could run $775 billion. His transition team is working on the final details. Congressional aides briefed on the measure say it'll include tax cuts and funding for infrastructure projects and state programs. AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) Chrysler's CEO says the automaker has received an initial $4 billion loan from the U.S. Treasury Department. Chief Executive Bob Nardelli says it'll allow Chrysler to continue its restructuring as it works to build better cars "people want to buy." WASHINGTON (AP) A person briefed on the process says Harvard Law School Dean Elena Kagan is the leading candidate to be President-elect Barack Obama's solicitor general.
