KMSU Auction is Tomorrow

Dad's got a drawer full of neck ties. Mom's got perfume for every day of the year...

So what do you get those people on your Christmas list who seem to have it all?

If you're tired of walking up and down the mall trying to get ideas, this may just be what you're looking for. The broadcasting students at Minot State University are hosting the tenth annual KMSU auction on Channel 19 tomorrrow night. The auction is a fund raiser for the broadcasting department. And this year, 10 percent of the proceeds will go to a student scholarship and another 10 percent will benefit Karla Weigsness... a student battling cancer.

The students are hoping to raise $10-thousand this year...

(Amber Jensen, MSU Sr.) " Yeah, it's a great opportunity to get Christmas gifts, We have different things for your children, even your husband or wife, There;s spa packages, hotel rooms, vacations you can take the family on. So there's greatChristmas gifts along with other things as well.""

(Ken Story, MSU Sr) "Our poster that we actually have out in the community wiht our sponsors on it is filled. And we actually had to add more on to it. So it's filled up to the brim. And we've got some creative and fun stuff that's going to be auctioned off so I'm sure we're going to get the most bang for the donator's buck so..."

Last year, the auction took in about $9-thousand. The event starts tomorrow night at 6:30... you can see a list of items to be auctioned on KMSU' s website at KMSuaction.com or on channel 19. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
