The choice is seen as an extraordinary gesture in the wake of the long, bitter primary battle between the two Democrats. BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) At least 51 people have been wounded in a series of explosions in Bangkok, Thailand. The blasts seemed to target anti-government protest sites. An ongoing standoff between the government and its opponents has strangled Thailand's economy and shut down its airports.
