Associated Press ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) A Minnesota astronaut is due to make her second spaceflight next month. St. Paul native Heidi Stefanyshyn-Piper (stef-un-NISH'-in PIPE'-er) is due to fly on the shuttle Endeavour's missing to the international space station. It's scheduled to launch November 14th. Stefanyshyn-Piper will make three space walks during the 15-day mission. During her first mission in 2006, she became the first woman from Minnesota to walk in space. She completed two spacewalks during a 12-day mission to the space station then. The 45-year-old is a 1980 graduate of Derham Hall High School in St. Paul.
