Associated Press The attorney for the family of Ron Goldman, who was killed along with Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson in 1995, says he thinks the 33.5 million dollar wrongful death judgment led Simpson to try to recover personal items he had lost. Simpson was convicted Friday of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges for storming a Las Vegas hotel room to seize Simpson sports mementos. David Cook says the trial gives America closure. Simpson could spend the rest of his life in prison and Fred Goldman, the father of Ronald, tells CNN that's quote "where the scumbag belongs." Simpson's lawyer says jurors were "on an agenda" and calls their decision "payback." One of Simpson's friends calls it a "public lynching." % |
