PALM BAY, Fla. (AP) Police say a Florida teenager has admitted he slashed a woman to death during a burglary Friday. And a witness says the teen used the $6 he stole from her to buy beer.

Alan Michael Tanguay was arrested today and faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of 58-year-old Patricia Kaliszeski.

According to police documents, the 16-year-old told investigators he was burglarizing the house in Palm Bay when Kaliszeski approached him with a knife. He says he took it away from her and attacked her with it. He also hit her in the head with a lamp.

Police say a statement on the boy's social networking Web site describes how he likes gory violence, quote, "like people getting their neck slit" and tongue pulled out.
