Associated Press Medora, N.D. (AP) Volunteers with the Badlands Conservation Alliance planned to spend Saturday removing graffiti carved on rocks at Theodore Roosevelt National Park in western North Dakota. The effort is part of the 15th annual National Public Lands Day. Park Superintendent Valerie Naylor says the Alliance did similar work two years ago. In honor of Public Lands Day, entrance fees are waived at all national parks around the country. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 09-27-08 1019CDT |
