Associated Press HELENA, Mont. (AP) Recipients of the University of Montana's 2008 Distinguished Alumni Award will be recognized at a campus reception on Sept. 19. The recipients are Jeff Hamilton of Spokane, Wash.; Judith Blakely Morgan of La Jolla, Calif.; and Garry South of Santa Monica, Calif. Hamilton, who graduated from UM in 1967, retired as the senior managing partner of Accenture, a global consulting business. Morgan, a 1960 graduate, is a journalist whose work includes articles in National Geographic and other magazines. She co-wrote a biography of Theodore Geisel, the children's author known as Dr. Seuss.
