MSU Opens Recruiting Center

Making the transition from high school to college can be scary for some, but a new facility will be making that step a little easier for teens.

Today, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Magic City Campus, in conjuction with Minot State University, for the MSU Outreach Office.

The facility will provide high-schoolers an opportunity to experience, first-hand, what college is about.

Organizers say not only will the office open students' minds to Minot State, but also to the possibility of attending any university.

Magic City Principal, Mark Vollmer, says so far, the program has been very useful and he feels it's leaving students more prepared than ever for higher education.

(Mark Vollmer, Principal- Magic City Campus) "Our goal is to ensure that the educational process is both seamless and contiguous; a connected process that will ensure our students grow to be strong, well-educated adults, who are connected both to family and our community.

The MSU Outreach Office will be run by the Minot State enrollment services staff and their door will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays at Magic City campus. watch the video | save this article / add to your favorites list
