Police, CAP search for Bismarck manAug 25 2008 3:06PM
Associated Press BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) The Civil Air Patrol is helping in the search of a 76-year-old Bismarck man who failed to return home Saturday night from a trip to visit relatives. Bismarck Police Sgt. Dwight Offerman says the air search on Monday for John Miller will focus along the Highway 83 area in Emmons County, between Linton and Hauge. Police say Miller has health problems, including possible dementia, and needs medication and bottled oxygen. Offerman says he does not know the extent of Miller's reliance on bottled oxygen. Authorities say Miller was last seen driving a red 1991 Ford Ranger pickup with license plate DYV178, and was wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt and light-colored blue jeans. He's described as balding with white hair, brown eyes and wearing glasses. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) APNP 08-25-08 1456CDT |
