Huron's Crossroads Hotel to become a Quality Inn

Eds: APNewsNow.

HURON, S.D. (AP) Huron's Crossroads Hotel will become a Quality Inn by the end of the year. That from David Graham of the Graham Organization in Sioux Falls.

He told the Huron City Commission the conversion could take three to six months. Graham says the rooms won't change much but that other changes are planned for the hotel.

Graham's group acquired the assets of Huron Crossroads Inc. in February. The price was not disclosed. The sale included the rooms, a restaurant and a lounge.

Graham also assumed responsibilities for the Huron Event Center, which is owned by the city of Huron.

Quality Inn is part of the Choice Hotels umbrella and will be on a national reservation system.
