Washington (AP) Researchers have uncovered a new clue to the cause of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers says they were were able to cause symptoms of the memory-robbing form of demetia in rats by injecting them with a particular form of sticky protein found in patients who have the disease. Those symptoms were missing when other types of the protein were injected instead.

LOS ANGELES (AP) "Get Smart," the big screen update of the 1960s spy sitcom, raked in over 39 million dollars to debut as the number one weekend movie. Mike Myers' widely panned "The Love Guru," took just 14 million dollars, good for a fourth place debut.
