MINOT, N.D. (AP) Minot Police say a woman has been arrested on theft charges after at least $477,000 was taken from a livestock business.

Police say 42-year-old Melanie Zimbelman of Towner was arrested after a 3 1/2-month investigation into money taken from the Northern Livestock Auction.

Zimbelman says she has no comment. She's free on $15,000 bail.

She faces three counts of felony theft.

Detective Sergeant David Goodman says Zimbleman was a bookkeeper at the business. She's alleged to have taken the money over a three-year period.
