RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) President Bush has arrived in Saudi Arabia to talk with King Abdullah (ab-DUHL'-uh) about high oil prices. It's Bush's second visit to Saudi Arabia in the past four months.

UNDATED (AP) With the average price of gas sitting at $3.79 for a gallon of regular, some folks are giving up driving. A Wisconsin man has pledged to park his pickup and not buy gas at all for at least a month. Instead, he says he's going to go only to places he can get to on a bike or on foot.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Gay marriage opponents in California are redoubling efforts to prevent same-sex couples from tying the knot.

The state Supreme Court yesterday declared the state's ban on gay marriage unconstitutional. Conservative groups are asking for a delay, hoping to get a gay-marriage-ban amendment on California's November ballot.

BEICHUAN, China (AP) A strong aftershock from Monday's earthquake has sparked landslides in central China. The temblor has buried vehicles and again cut off areas left devastated by the quake.

LONDON (AP) A letter written by Albert Einstein has sold at auction in London for more than $400,000. That's 25 times higher than the pre-sale estimate. In it, Einstein dismisses the idea of God as the product of human weakness and the Bible as "pretty childish."
