Public Service Commission approves Langdon wind expansion plans

(Todd McDonald, Prairie Public) UNDATED (AP) The state Public Service Commission has approved a plan to expand a northeastern North Dakota wind project.

The plan by Langdon Wind, L-L-C would add 40.5 megawatts.

Turbines would be added throughout the existing wind farm, which covers nearly 40-square miles in Cavalier County. The electricity from the expansion will be purchased by Minnkota Power Cooperative.
