Pearl Harbor flag flies at Black Hills National Cemetery...Feb 5 2008 6:46AM
Associated Press STURGIS, S.D. (AP) A flag honoring Pearl Harbor that is visiting 25 national cemeteries and historic battlefields across the nation has made its stop in the Black Hills. Old Glory flied high over the Black Hills National Cemetery on Monday as part of the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Tour. The nationwide flag raising effort is being done by the White House Commission on Remembrance and USS Arizona Pearl Harbor Memorial Museum in Hawaii. The tour began on Dec. 7 in Pearl Harbor. Black Hills National Cemetery Director Sara Elton says two are Pearl Harbor survivors were invited to the ceremony.
