Bush to announce plan...Kentucky bodies found...Casino caucuses

Washington (AP) President Bush outlines his plan for giving a shot in the arm to the sluggish economy in a White House speech Friday. Congressional aides say Bush wants 800-dollar tax rebates for individuals and twice that for couples.

GLENCOE, Ky. (AP) Police have recovered five bodies from a car found submerged in a rural Kentucky creek. Investigators haven't identified the two adults and three children found inside. State police say they do not suspect foul play in the deaths.

LAS VEGAS (AP) An effort by a union backing Hillary CLinton to block Nevada Democrats from holding caucuses inside Las Vegas casinos has failed. A federal judge says the state party has a right to set its "own rules" in Saturday's voting. Casino precincts could benefit Barack Obama.

HONOLULU (AP) Witnesses in Hawaii say a 23-year-old man calmly walked away from a pedestrian overpass Thursday after tossing a toddler 30 feet onto a highway. The boy was later pronounced dead.

The suspect is being given a mental evaluation.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) An air traffic controller's mistake is being blamed for a close call Wednesday at Newark's Liberty International Airport. The FAA says the controller gave one of the planes the radio frequency for the wrong airport, putting it out of touch with Newark's tower.
