Accused cop impersonator now charged with stealing cemetery vases

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) The Rapid City man accused of stealing medicine while dressed as an undercover police officer has now been charged with stealing vases from a cemetery.

Police say 25-year-old Sean Curington sold the vases from Pine Lawn Memorial Cemetery to a local buyer the same day he was picked up for stealing prescription drugs from a woman.

Pacific Steel Shop called police the day after Curington's arrest to report it.

All 61 vases have been returned to the cemetery.

Officers say a 17-year-old was also caught selling stolen vases but hasn't been charged.
