No injuries reported in train derailment in Iroquois

IROQUOIS, S.D. (AP) Twelve cars on a Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern Railroad train derailed this morning in downtown Iroquois.

A railroad spokesman says six of the cars were loaded with rock and the others were empty.

He also says the train was headed west, but he didn't specify where it was headed or where it had departed from.

The cause of the derailment has not been determined.

No injuries were reported.
